Technical Sales Representative
Job Summary:
In this role, Technical Sales Representative will use their understanding of sales techniques and technical knowledge to drive revenue for the company. Sales will develop relationships with decision-makers, follow up on leads, and represent a range of technical products.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify Sales Opportunities: Analyze and summarize information and trends related to the competition.
- Develop New Accounts: Research and identify potential leads, solicit new business, build connections, provide technical information, and prepare quotes.
- Order Management: Use various communication methods to verify collected information and finalize sales.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain communication with customers, suggest products, and explain technical features.
- Use sales tools to quote and price products effectively and efficiently.
- Product Knowledge: Keep up to date with product descriptions and participate in ongoing training.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Valid driver’s license.
Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in a related field is highly preferred.
- Sales experience in industry recommended but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Will require travel within assigned territory or area.
